Windows 8 : Click, pause, left right up and down?

I understand that they are making the new generation of operating system, which visual is the number #1 factor, speed is number #2, #3 is internet and being social, and #4 is about multitasking. What I want is number #5: GUI manual for operating the Windows 8. If I go up what will happen? If I touch the screen bottom, what will pop up? Things like that need users to memorize and practice first.

Because Windows 8 new interface is basically the enlarged version of the 'Start' button, you can still view the Win 7 Start button around 3:04 in the video if you missed that ol buddy so much.
