My keyboard acting strange: ' apostrophe, ~ tilde character need to press keyboard two times to get it appear in Windows 11

• Apostrophes and double quotes don't show up until I type the next letter, 
• Windows 10 changed how quotation marks work. How do I fix this?, 
• Why I have to press keys two times to get the ^ or ´ or ` symbol in Windows 7 and how can I fix it? [duplicate], 
• My windows keyboard is being "clever" with the quote keys - how can I stop it?, 
• Quotes and double quotes appear twice after keyboard press,

and many other strange twice pressing actions on keyboard. 

The solution? 

Change your 'Installed keyboards' to US QWERTY. 

Steps: 

1. Win + X, go for Settings, (or search Settings), 
2. Time & Language, 
3. Language & region, 
4. Under 'Preferred languages' is your installed language(s) appear. Click on triple dots on the right side of 'English (United Stated), 
5. Choose another three dots 'Language options', 
6. Scroll for Keyboards, 
7. Here you need to add the better keyboard that didn't need to press twice: click on 'Add a keyboard', 
8. Scroll to look for US QWERTY keyboard. Click on it to add as your keyboard.
   
9. Next is to remove the twice pressing keyboard (that is United States-International QWERTY) keyboard > click on the triple dots on it's right,
   
10. Remove, 
11. Basically you're done up to this point. But for extra confirmation, please Restart your pc ASAP. To really makes it use the new keyboard settings. 
12. Done!

Change Facebook Business Page URL in July 2024

1. Go to your page, 
2. On your left, which is a 'Manage Page' menu, browse downwards and go to 'Settings', 
3. The menu will be 'Settings & Privacy', browse downwards for 'Page setup', 
4. The new page is titled 'Page setup' > 'Your page name', 
5. Next to 'Name' is a 'View' button, click it, 
6. Here you will arrive at 'General Page settings', 
7. The menu there is 'Name' and 'Username', with 'Edit' button on the right, 
8.  'Username' > 'Edit' > and now here is where you can change your facebook page URL/link! 
9. Type your preferred page url, 
10. If the status is 'Username is available', now you can 'Save changes' and start sharing that Facebook Page link~~ 

 

Remember to type manually your newly created fb page url link to double check whether it's working well or not~

How to really add text to multiple cells without having to re-enter anything in Google Sheets? (No formula used)

I found a Reddit page that uilize 'Find and Replace', but it does not working as intended. It adds text to the end of the cells content. So, I tried with special characters and boom! I found it!!! 

How to add text to the front of multiple cells using Find and Replace:- 

1. Select the cells, 
2. Edit -> Find and Replace (Ctrl+H), 
3. type ^ in 'Find',
4. type your text or numbers or whatever in 'Replace with', 
5. tick the 'Search using regular expressions', 
6. click 'Replace all', 
7. Done! (It should says 'Replaced # instances of ^ with (your text)) 

 

How to add text to the end of multiple cells using Find and Replace:- 

1. Select the cells, 
2. Edit -> Find and Replace (Ctrl+H), 
3. type $ in 'Find',
4. type your text or numbers or whatever in 'Replace with', 
5. tick the 'Search using regular expressions', 
6. click 'Replace all',

Oh. I forgot to mention: 

If you want to add space, just type into the textbox 'Replace with'. If you didn't, the text will be sooo close together.

Where to find your logged in devices in Facebook Settings?

Okay, I tried to log in into Facebook using a new device. And to my surprise, I've logged on into : 

Facebook tells me that I logged with my phone and with another Samsung devices??? But I did not use Samsung phones????? 

I got so afraid, afraid that my Facebook account got hacked by unknown user so I tried to search in Facebook Settings what devices connected or logged into my account. 

That settings hides somewhat deep, so I guess if anyone out there who tried to find any devices that logged into their Facebook account, they can search it too. 

This is how :- 

1. Go to your Facebook Settings, 

2. Click on Activity log, 

3. Scroll down for 'Security and Login Information', 

4. Click on Recognized devices, 

5. Click on the log, they should be option menu (I can't remember it's the three dot or ??? on the right side) > click on it > logout/disconnect from device. (I also forgot what the option is. I just remembered to screenshot where to find the devices setting....) :-( 

I hope that this will help anyone who needed this. Maybe if I encountered this again later, I will update with newer screenshot. 

Please sometimes check credentials for your socials, you might surprised who is watching you :-(

Cannot run the macro [*]. The macro may not be available in this workbook + custom button in Excel that goes to previous sheet

"Cannot run the macro [filename.xlsm'!macroname']. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled." 

How to solve this macro problem in Microsoft Excel? I created a shape so it would function as a button that goes back to the previous sheet or the next sheet. But my macro didn't run. That guy just walks off on it's own. Maybe going to the next town, getting some milk. Who knows? 

Sorry I'm so sorry. I was creating my own inventory Excel but encounter this hurdle. So here's how I solved it? 

1. Ctrl+click on that button, (so I could select that button) 

2. right click (I want to get second opinion) 

3. look for 'Assign macro...', click on it. 

4. Next, assign newly made Macro to that button. Basically I just override that error. Good bye error. See you never! 

I forgot step 0. 

0. Record a brand new Macros from View > Macros > Record Macro... 

0a. Give your 'Macro name:', but without spaces. Maybe use underscore if you need to. Give description like 'This macro goes hard'. No no no. Write the description as 'This macro go to previous sheet using Ctrl + Page Up' or something like that. 

0b. Click 'OK', 

0c. If it says 'Macro with name 'blablablah' already exists. Replace existing macro? > YES please! 

0d. Actually when you start pressing that OK, it will start to record. So, after that OK, just go on press Ctrl + Page Up together. 

0e. Click 'Macros' > Stop Recording. That should be it. 

0f. Go back to your button just now, click on it. It should bring you back to previous sheet. That error 'Cannot run the macro...' should be gone by now. 

The last step is to save it into your computer. Save it as a file with extension of .xlsm. 

File > Save As > This PC > Desktop > go to the Save as type > choose Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook (*/xlsm) > click Save. And you're done. 

Close all your Excels and everything. Try open that Excel with macro and try clicking on your button again. It should work. If it didn't, Sorry, I don't know how to solve that. Magically it works when I'm doing it here. 

Tips: 

: For button going to next sheet, record it: Ctrl + Page Down. Yeah, that Ctrl key in your keyboard. Press it together with Page Down keyboard. 

: Let's say you want to remove all macros... Oh no, I actually save a back up before saving it as xlsm file. In case I want a macro free Excel. 

Another option is delete that macro-ed button and create a new one. View your macros and delete all unused macros. 

: In order for macro to work, when opening that xlsm Excel, you need to 'Enable content'. It appears below the ribbon. If you didn't enable it, that Excel becomes read only file. Hahahaha. 

I guess that's it? This method worked with Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021. Eh, I thought it was Microsoft 365? I download Excel app from Explore all your Apps in Microsoft 365... 

Last but not least, 

I've uploaded that xlsm file in OneDrive, and try clicking on my macro-ed button, but it didn't work. Button with hyperlink to Index sheet is working. But macro-ed button do nothing...

Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon & Manaphy

.: It's been like three years ago after I left Pokemon Y rested in it's own plastic cover. I've stopped playing until the part I get Y, beating Elite Four and capturing Zygarde. Then it's just Monster Hunter all the way.

I used to be a Pokemon fan before (and that time I've played using emulator), but after having my own Nintendo 3DS and original copy of Pokemon Y, finally becoming the Pokemon Champion and then I've lost my motivation to continue playing it. One of the causes is I'm grinding my Monster Hunter weapon and armor.

With one unit of 3DS, you need to alternate between these two games. And for me to continue grinding all my pokemon until level 100 seems so boring because the highest level in Kalos is around 55 to 58 if I'm not mistaken? I used to grind two pokemon until they are 20 levels more in any wild pokemon in an area. When my Fennekin grows level 80, to beat like tons of level 58 pokemon seems ridiculous. Beating Elite Four over and over again also seems to weaken my grinding motivation.

If only The Pokemon Company makes the game to actually level up their wild pokemon in like one special hidden area it would be good. Say, in the new Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon there exist an island that cover all basic elements (fire water grass) where I can grind my pokemon. And the wild pokemon there will level up like 10 levels under my most powerful pokemon.

For example, If I got my Litten at level 80 so wild pokemon in that special area will have level 70. When I level up Litten at level 81, so wild pokemon will level up to 71. And so on. This, will make grinding up to 100 will be easier. Heehee.

(In emulator, you don't get to feel the level 100 pokemon because the cheat was too easy. Unlimited rare candy and walking speed over 9000 passing through invisible walls between rooms or big rocks makes level 100 too boring).

All of this rants is made because I never use the O-power. Damn. Why I didn't realize it before? You can grind and make money at the same time fighting inside the restaurant! (T, T )

But grinding in the wild can increase your chances of finding more shiny pokemon...

How to print screen together with mouse cursor in Windows 7?

.: Ouch!
Before this I thought I already put it in my blog this howto, but it seems that that howto is gone? Now I have to remind myself again how I capture my mouse cursor (mouse pointer?) inside my print screen.

And again, it's been a loooooooong time since I use IrfanView to capture screen my desktop because we can edit the software settings to capture our images with the mouse cursor, but too bad I forgot how to use IrfanView now...

Abe Shinzo did ask this same question in Yahoo! Answers, and the 'Alt+Prt Scr' hotkey did not work inside my 1Malaysia Netbook - is it because I'm using Windows 7 Starter instead of Windows XP like before? Alt+Prt Scr just capture the active app/window I've clicked before, not the whole desktop together with the wanted cursor. And Ctrl+Prt Scr is just like a normal Print Screen to me...

But in superuser.com, it is interesting to learn that we can use third party software to do this capturing job, or we can try the Microsoft's Problem Steps Recorder. But user Wesley Murch states that their screen shots "are understandably low quality, didn't see settings for that" shows that I need to check for other options -> need more googling there.

Story 1:
Okay, after watching DMC 5 2012 trailer, I remembered that I used to download flash games from Kongregate and failed. And so I get the inspiration to make my own game after watching similar old-schooled Final Fantasy 2D games made by some fan.

Atelier Rgss (2012) [ Rpg Maker ] [ RPGツクール ]

The concept is quite simple, keep moving and take actions to progress in the game. Because I love sole person strategy games, RPG suit me a little (forever alone? naaahhhhh~~). And, with some googling techniques?, I've learned that there exists some softwares which can help me automate my game-making process. (Or I think so...).

Here comes RPGMaker.Net - Engines to create your game.

Story 2:
One of my friends in UiTM Kota Samarahan shows me a hacking game which he is going to use in his IT presentations. I am pretty sure that he hates using cheats, and I was convinced that he was an elite hacker (in that game) where he can easily hack the virtual bank and take out the money without being traced. Oh, okay. It's just a game, but I've tried myself and failed 5 consecutive times because I am being traced by the game AI. Owww mannnnnnn... (Green envy feeling rises~~). How did he do that???

On-Screen 3D Glasses Viewer for 2D Monitor

.: I was so excited about the new KMPlayer 3.3.0.30 I've installed into my PC. It has the Windows 8 interface, whoaaaaa~~ :-D

It turns out that KMPlayer is able to 3D-ding my video, oh yeah~~ :-D

So, as I thought it should be, Google might have what you call it - "On-Screen 3D Glasses Viewer", just like the "Microsoft Ease of Access On-screen keyboard" because I don't have the 3D glasses with me right now. Too bad, uncle G failed my searching quest. It's because nobody has build the on-screen 3D glasses software yet... :-(

It's okay, because while in search of my on-screen thing, I've found this old post of Engadget that should be the first functional priority for the new 3D Ultrabook sold in future.

Err.. I thought it would be okay to have individually-manufactured-with-password 3D glasses for each and every 3D Ultrabook, but that would be very wasteful. Because the basic concept of this private 3D monitor is by stripping one visual layer, so by buying almost any "individually-manufactured-with-password 3D glasses" you can still view anyone with this 3D Ultrabook, right? (Should be a neat idea, but still wasteful. On second thought, by making Google Glass comes with password protected function so only the authorized owner can view his or her 3D Ultrabook, hey, this privacy screen thing can really work!) :-P

Memang tak sangka betul-betul dibuatnya yang "working unit", waduhhh.... Tapi memang dahsyat tau, bila research dan innovation kalau ada super funding tajaan, memang menjadik. Kalau ada duit baru barang jalan kan? Kalau takde duit (belanja), apa-apapun tak berjalan kalau zaman sekarang? :-?

hohohoho, jangan under estimate pandang rendah omputeh bila jiwa sains menyelidik dan inovasinya bergelora bergelojak ganas. Takde duit pun dia akan usahakan. Sama juga dengan orang Jepun, perghhhh.. Teringat satu buku yang dipinjam tapi dah terlebih tarikh pemulangan - buku "Kenapa Saya Tidak Berfikir Begitu?" oleh Ainon Mohd. dan Abdullah Hassan, keluaran PTS Consultants Sdn bhd 2005. Entah tiba-tiba nak pinjam buku lepas renew memperbaharui buku untuk kawan. Mamdoh rasa boleh diaplikasikan dalam pembinaan blog-blog mamdoh~ ;-)

Nak share satu lagi buku, kalau ada duit lebih memang nak beli. Mamdoh ada baca excerpts petikannya dari Amazon, memang best buku nih bagi jiwa blogger tapi menulis kadang-kadang: buku "I'm Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59" oleh Douglass Edwards.

Tapi harganya, tambah tolak pun dalam RM 40 ni, huhuhu.. :-x Kalau RM 40 bagi mamdoh boleh beli macam-macam, huhu.. Ada terfikir untuk buat jahat, nasib baek tak jumpa masa googling tadi, huhuhu.. Rm 40, di mana kamoooooo??~~~

Balik kepada cerita Google Glass tadi, dalam demo tu mereka tunjukkan dengan sesi Hangouts dari Google Plus. Memangla best lagi menarik tengok streaming dari Glass sangat laju dalam Hangouts, tapi bila memikirkan Malaysia masih belum power dan laju untuk internet connectivity dia, mungkin kita akan terkena Glass yang macam iklan Maxis Fibre tu - asik tersekat-sekat kerana loading melampau. Internet kat Malaysia ni ada macam-macam hal. Bila baca ketidakpuasan hati pengguna lain dan juga diri sendiri, rasa nak marah juga kepada pemimpin kerana slack cuai dalam menyuarakan dan menguatkuasakan undang-undang agar telco + internet provider tidak overcharge dan menipu. 

Wait, apa fungsi SKMM/MCMC???
(Website dari zaman stonehenge mana SKMM ni? Masih nak guna flash intro lagi dengan 'Enter website'? Semua orang nak simple one-click access ja. Ni tambah satu click lagi baru dapat masuk, adududududuuuu~~ Buat header sudeyyyyyyy~~)

Dengan had 5Gigabyte aja, huhuhu, tak puas juga bila pakai Glass kena bertop up top up isian semula. Sengal la. Hanya mereka-mereka yang berbelanja besar dengan memilih pelan termahal lagi unlimited aja baru pueh hati memakai Glass. huhuhuhu... ;-(

pcalua.exe in Windows 7

While cleaning a friend's netbook, I've noticed an unknown process running in it's startup.

According to Microsoft Answers, p-c-a in PCAlua.exe stands for Program Compatibility Assistant. They did give us another PCA FAQ link - which explains that this PCA is a legit Windows program which runs automatically when it detects an older program with known compatibility problem. That explains why pcalua.exe appears with Red Alert 2 in Windows 7~~

Play Mafia Wars and Control Your Own US Military Drone~

A fleet of American Predator and Reaper drones is reported to have been infected with a computer virus which keeps coming back no matter how the military geeks tries to eliminates them. The drones which serves as the new terrorism war tool is found to be targeted by a nasty virus called a "keylogger" - a virus that is able to record every single keystrokes of commands given to the drones.

Virus infects top-secret government systems

The good news is the virus was not targeting the high-tech drone program, but, as one anonymous defense official describe it, it was a malware that is routinely used to steal log-in and password data from people who gamble or play games like Mafia Wars online. So don't worry too much yet because the drones is still in control in the right hands, okay?

I dunno whether any mafia-wannabe out there is happy to know that they may control one of the drones as their most powerful mafia loot, but you can keep on dreaming one...

Nokia N9-00 Lankku: abang N8 yang baru~

.: Nokia N9 yang diumumkan bakal muncul di pasaran Jun 2011 ini nampak tak jauh berbeza fizikalnya dari Nokia N8 - macam kembar pun ada juga...

Nokia N9 Hitam. Ada warna Biru, warna Magenta Pinky juga~

Semenjak Apple iPhone klua, semua nak pakai touchscreen. Biar beli iPhone made in China, janji yang dipakai tu iPhone, adeh adeh. Kalau tak touchscreen memang tak sah. Pakaila Nokia 3310, serius ramai akan senyum memanjang tak pun guling-guling memikirkan kedai mana la jual 3310 lagi ni? :-P Tapi beza woo, dulu keypad timbul pisah-pisah satu-satu senang nak taip dalam seluar, takyah tengok pun boleh SMS. Haha :-P

Nak kata chantek, bolehla. Mana-mana smartphone kalau screen tak besar memang tak puas hati. Nokia N9 ni pun screen besar sikit je dari N8, N9 cuma besa 3.9 inci, yang N8 pulak 3.5 inci, cuma beza 0.4 inci. Tapi kira puas hatila, boleh tengok gamba atau video besa sikit, rugi tau gamba chantek HD tapi screen nak tengok kecik. Tambah lagi diorang tak kata ni smartphone, diorang nak cakap ini swipephone, hahaha. Apa kelas main touch touch sentuh sentuh screen kecik, swipe screen besar gedabak la layan, hahaha X-D

Kalau compare beza betul-betul kan, dari beli Nokia N9, bagus lagi beli Nokia N8. Kenapa?

• Kalau tak periksa betul-betul, anda akan terbeli N9 yang hampeh. N9 hampeh? N9 diberitakan akan dijual dengan dua sais memori, satu ada 16Gb, satu lagi 64Gb. Sebabnya mana-mana N9 hampeh dan menyaketkan hati ialah dia takde slot untuk letak memory card extra, memang tak dibuat. Kalau mengharap internal memory je, aduiii.. tak cukup tu bang 16Gb, tak cukup. Kalau 64Gb murah takpe, kalau terbeli yang 16Gb memang sakit hatila. N8 pulak, walaupun defaultnya 16Gb, tapi boleh ditambah dengan microSD sampai 32Gb~~
• Satu lagi ialah pasal radio, N8 ada radio, N9 takde radio. Walaupun mp3 lebih dari cukup untuk dengar lagu, radio penting woo untuk dengar berita dan untuk check periksa jam pukul berapa sekarang, haa.. Lagipun asyik dengar mp3 yang sama ulang-ulang akan buhsan, bila dengar radio kita kitak tak dapat kawal control lagu yang dimain, tambah pula kebuhsanan dapat dikurangkan dengan mendengar celoteh DJ radio, hehe. Lagipun boleh dengar cuaca hari ni hujan ke tak, jalan mana yang sesak ke tidak (dah ada ke weather app untuk Malaysia?)~~ 

Nokia pulak, dia tahu 2 kekurangan tu agak lethal lagi merbahaya, dia cover dengan 3 barang baek punya untuk N9.

1. Kelajuan: Nokia N9 ada 1Gb RAM, ada 3 kali ganda besar dari Nokia N8 dengan 256Mb RAM. Walaupun internal memory kecik, tapi dia boleh proses maklumat sampai 3 kali ganda lebih cepat, bolehla diampunkan ditutup sebelah mata perihal memorinya yang kecil...

2. Operating System: Dia ada MeeGo OS versi 1.2 Hermattan. Sangat layan sebab dia original asli Linux OS - boleh buat banyak software, boleh hack banyak benda tanpa bingung di-block oleh mana-mana app store, hehe, open source software ni, hehe. Cakap banyak mungkin susah nak percaya, di bawah ada *simulated?* MeeGo OS in action~

3. Game: Barang baek yang last terakhir Nokia buat untuk cover kekurangan N9 - dia dah siap install Angry Birds Magic (NFC) dalam N9, yeaaahhhhh~~

Piracy: 3 Software Alternatif Percuma untuk Semua Pelajar~

.: Kehidupan sebagai seorang pelajar semasa "dunia dah moden, zaman dah maju" ni memang banyak cabarannya. Tidak kira berapa umur anda, dalam banyak banyak cabaran, antara cabaran paling menduga sekali ialah penggunaan komputer dan software perisiannya.

Nak kata menduga sangat tidakla. Tapi bagi seorang umat Islam, seboleh-bolehnya segala yang kita pakai guna, makan minum, datang dari sumber halal, atau diperoleh dengan cara halal, bukan merampas hak orang lain. Begitu juga dengan menggunakan perisian software, jika berkemampuan, belilah yang original yang asli. Jika tidak, apa kata kita cuba pakai yang percuma free? ;-)

Ikut pengalaman mamdoh sendiri, perkara paling basic asas keperluan seorang pelajar dalam komputernya ialah: Operating system OS, software taip menaip, antivirus. Kalau yang selain dari itu, software yang diinstall memang software yang kategori "kehendak", bukan keperluan. Saja je install sebab suka pakai atau suka main. Mamdoh suka main game, kalau DotA dijual dgn sangat sangat murah, bawah RM50, memang beli tunai cash. Disebabkan software DotA terlalu mahal la jadi main pinjam komputer kawan, oops...

Software Alternatif yang Percuma #1: Operating System Ubuntu.

Kalau takde OS, memang komputer tak berjalan, kosong blank hitam aje. Nak tak nak, mesti pasang install OS. Disebabkan Windows 7 Pro agak mahal (~RM450++), jadi kita beralih angin ke OS percuma. Kalau di-Google-kan "free OS", ada banyak OS free yang kita tak pernah dengar tapi fungsi dan rupa lebih kurang hampir sama dengan Windows 7, haa..

Dalam banyak-banyak OS percuma, mamdoh rekemenkan Ubuntu. Sebab dia percuma (itu kriteria penting - bila OS halal, jadi semua barang atau assignment atau apa apa aja yang dibuat dengan komputer itu pun halal. Tapi kalau install jugak software pirate, halal jadi bye bye woo..), rupa ala-ala Mac siket, dan boleh support software Windows dengan Wine nya, haa..

Tapi kalau nak pakai Windows 7 juga,beli yang Windows 7 Starter pun ok, RM150 sahaja. Walaupun beberapa fungsi best takde, tapi lebih baik dari pakai Windows pirate, haa.. ;-) Di Lowyat.net ada pricelist senarai pdf harga software dari SoftwareExchange~~

Software Alternatif yang Percuma #2: Software taip menaip OpenOffice.Org OOo.

OpenOffice.org ni software yang ala-ala Microsoft Office 2003 tapi edisi percuma. Kita sebagai pelajar kurang mampu nak melaburkan duit pinjaman PTPTN untuk beli software Office original, jadi nasib baiklah ada programmer omputeh di luar sana yang mengembleng tenaga dan idea menghasilkan Office yang percuma. Maka lahirlah OpenOffice.org, yang mengandungi hampir semua software seperti Microsoft Office:

• OpenOffice.org Writer = Microsoft Word,
• OpenOffice.org Impress = Microsoft PowerPoint, 
• OpenOffice.org Calc = Microsoft Excel, 
• dan juga lain-lain perisian~~

Kalau muaturun download dari original website, OpenOffice.org memang disertakan sekali dengan Java (versi lama), kalau nak install OpenOffice aja (sebab dah ada Java versi baru), boleh muaturun OOo dari FileHippo~

Software Alternatif yang Percuma #3: Antivirus Avast Percuma~

Ini penting ini, kalau takde antivirus komputer kita ibarat tak berbaju tak berseluar dan memang pasti "demam-demam dan sakit-sakit". Hidup seorang pelajar memang tak jauh dari men-transfer memindahkan barang dari USB ke komputer, dari komputer ke USB, maka antivirus memang komponen wajib untuk menjaga komputer dari diserang dirosakkan virus-virus.

Yang paling hangin bila hasil kerja assignment kita hilang semua atau rosak semua atau belum disimpan ke USB tapi komputer dah rosak / tak boleh on dihidupkan / screen hitam legam biru / dan lain-lain masalah. Sebab itulah antivirus nak tak nak mesti wajib diinstall dipasang dalam komputer.

Mamdoh sendiri lebih meminati Avast, walaupun dia kadang-kadang buat hal, tapi kuasa protection perlindungan Avast boleh tahan kuat. Untuk software percuma kita boleh pakai Avast Home, tapi jika ada fulus lebih bolehla upgrade yang mahal lagi :-)

Avast! 6 Free Antivirus Review

Versi baru ada sedikit ringan, tapi kalau anda pun pakai Avast 6, sila disablekan AutoSandbox kerana ia melambatkan komputer selambat-lambatnya. (Kalau RAM besar, jangan disable AutoSandbox, kalau RAM kecik "bolehla" terpaksa rela disable...) 

Satu lagi keburukan Avast 6 ialah dia hanya ringan kalau dia running macam biasa dan kita tak buka tak pakai mana-mana program. Tapi bila dan running guna software lain, mulalah Avast sibuk sibuk men-scan-kan segala apa yang kita run. Tu yang kadang-kadang tengah tengok movie, main game Facebook dia jadik slow, Avast sebok-sebok scan, aiya.. Di samping itu, Avast 6 akan automatik membuang autorun.inf dan mana-mana malware yang automatik run bila kita cucuk USB. Masa komputer tengah install driver USB tu la Avast sibuk-sibuk scan USB juga. Itu yang dia pi automatik buang tu, haa..

Walaupun dia sedikit hampeh, Avast 6 Home tatap menjadi pujhaaannnn~ :-D

Pilihan lain untuk antivirus yang kuat dan agak ringan dan tak banyak songeh?
Software antivirus payung merah - Avira Antivirus Personal~~ Pernah guna AVG Free - dia berat terlampau kalau tak di-update, BitDefender - delete tapi tak berapa delete, Panda Free semacam aneh, Symantec Norton memang no no no, PC-cilin ntah apa jadi dengan dia, jadi pakailah mana yang anda minat.

Disebabkan nak pakai yang halal dan berkualiti, kita guna antivirus yang Home / Personal / Free version. Satu lagi masa nak register taknak yang isi borang dengan segala macam maklumat, dan dia mesti ada definition update automatik tanpa kita tercari-cari mana button update dia, dan yang paling penting, antivirus percuma itu mesti maintain power kuat membunuh membuang virus-virus etc walaupun dia tak connected bersambung dengan internet. Sekurang-kurangnya dia ada prevention technology buang barang yang "disemak test ada risiko membahayakan" komputer, sekurang-kurangnya lah.
